How the fuck does this even work?
Welcome to goatlocker. I'm far too lazy and inept to make a proper web interface so we're going this the old fashioned way. Buckle up buckaroo.
Making an account
- Ask broc. If you don't know who that is then you don't belong here
- Give him a username and password
- Username and password must be more than six characters long
- An account will be created for you whenever he gets around to it
Uploading
- Install FileZilla, brought to you by the friendly SJW faggots at Mozilla
- Fill out the four fields across the top...
- Host: win5139.site4now.net
- Username: The one you gave to broc
- Password: If you've already forgotten your password then you are too stupid to use this service. B& niggerfaggot
- Port: 21
- Hit "Quickconnect"
- A bunch of stuff should happen in the terminal pane, eventually it'll let you in
- Once you're in, there's four panes below the terminal. The two on the left are your filesystem, the two on the right are your directory on goatlocker.net
- Drag files from the left to the right to upload them, or drag them into the goatlocker filesystem from your OS file explorer
- A progressbar should show up in the pane at the bottom of the window under the "Queued files" tab
- Once it's done and the progressbar disappears, congrats, fileuploaded
Posting to cytube
- Hit the refresh button on FileZilla
- Once it's done refreshing (usually takes ~20 seconds) right click on the file you want to post and select "Copy URL(s) to clipboard"
- Paste it into a new browser tab
- Replace "ftp://[your username]@ftp.site4now.net" with "goatlocker.net/[your root directory]"
- Hit enter and test the link. If it doesn't work after ~30 seconds you fucked up somehow
- If it works, then great. Hit the "+" under the video in cytube and paste the link
- Change "http" to "https"
- Hit "queue next" or "queue last"
Deleting
- Hit the refresh button on FileZilla
- Once it's done refreshing (usually takes ~20 seconds) select the files you want and hit del
- It is important to wait until it's actually done refreshing, it should say something like:
- Status: Logged in
- Status: Retrieving directory listing of "/"...
- Status: Directory listing of "/" successful
- If you delete a file without refreshing properly it sometimes creates a ghost file which can't be deleted or viewed but still takes up space. It'll go away after a few days, but it's annoying and unnecessary
Guidelines
- In theory we are allowed infinite storage. In practice we've run out of space before, so for now don't upload your entire media library. Just upload the files you need the night before.
- I've found that movies much larger than 1gb run into bandwidth issues and don't stream properly. If it's 2gb or something consider shrinking it.
- .mp4 files with h256 encoding and AAC audio are best for cross browser compatibility. If you upload anything else, it might not play for some people
- Don't upload porn
- Don't be a niggerfaggot
A tender note of farewell
If you've made it this far, congratulations, you made it. You are no longer a niggerfaggot. You are now a high-speed, low-drag, doorkicking movie-goat. Go forth and redpill
Take me home broc
